Getting married in the summer… a must for many couples. Especially by the water or in the countryside, such as on a beautiful meadow or in the garden, people like to exchange vows. Ideally, of course, in bright sunshine. But the warm temperatures can be quite difficult on this special day. In order to avoid heat stress at the wedding party, there are a few simple tips that you and your guests can use to cool down pleasantly.
- Tip 1: Popsicles! Everyone knows it, everyone likes it – and it’s the perfect sweet way to cool down, whether before or after a meal. By the way, also a highlight in the do-it-yourself version!
- Tip 2: Parasol for the bridal couple. This not only protects against the sun and heat, but is also a great accessory for wedding photos and a nice memory.
- Tip 3: drinks bar. Cool drinks for in between are indispensable in hot temperatures. This should be something non-alcoholic, such as soda or soda, if possible, to help counteract possible dehydration.
- Tip 4: Fans and sunscreen. Your guests will be surprised if everyone gets a hand fan and a small tube of sunscreen as a gift. At an outdoor wedding, these things are essential and few guests think to bring them themselves. To add a special personal touch, the hand fans can be printed with a picture or lettering and can be taken away by the guests as a souvenir.
- Tip 5: shaded areas. Whether on a natural path under trees or with beautiful tools such as parasols or sun sails – being able to escape to the shade in between is the be-all and end-all at summer wedding celebrations. After all, it will hopefully be a long night, for which you still need enough energy to dance and celebrate.
